March 3, 20188 yr Default ATC keeps sending me to RW 34L for departcher but incoming traffic and all other departing planes are using 16R. Anyone else having this issue. I hate to ignore ATC but those near crashes are just too much! Ken Thompson i7-4790 @4 GHz 64 Bit Win 7 16G RAM GTX 1080Ti

I hate to ignore ATC but those near crashes are just too much! I see that at not only the default Reno but also at flightbeam's ksfo and fsdreamteam's klax where it's really bad. This something I've noticed since V4 was released. There is a work around: while at the terminal you can try advancing the sim rate to 4x for a minute or two, or as long as needed to clear the default traffic pattern and allow the pattern that the ATC sees to populate. If you have Orbx scenery and have not disabled their afcad files it could conflict with the default atc

Here is what PacSim says -- "DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT BECAUSE IT WILL NOT WORK IN FSX, FSX STEAM, OR P3DV3/2/1 SIM PLATFORMS. THE PRODUCT IS MEANT SPECIFICALLY FOR P3DV4 SIM PLATFORM ONLY. NO REFUNDS GIVEN SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO IGNORE THIS WARNING." So, based on that I would assume 4.1 works okay. I am running 4.2 with no problems. Thanks, Greg I would like to know this too, and would appreciate some screenshots of the transition from land class to photo real textures at the scenery's boundary's if anyone using base, vector, and openLC has this.

Good luck with that. I gave up and spent my money elsewhere. Wasn't able to find any kind of map showing the thousands of miles of coverage either. For me, there were too many unknowns for the price. I can say it looks fine and blends well. There are special instructions for installing with Orbx. I am away from my computer for several days however and unable to provide screenshots.
March 17, 20188 yr Took some screens for those who want to see the blending. I am using FTX Global, NorCal, Vector, and OpenLC. I'll let the screens speak for themselves as far as the blending quality. March 19, 20188 yr Thanks, Will, for taking the time to create the splendid screenies. Great job showing the borders of the scenery area and how it blends with the ORBX addons. Greg
