Fairchild Hiller FH-227B

Recommended Posts

If any developer is looking for a airliner to develop for X-Plane 11 that hasn't been done yet, how about the Fairchild-Hiller FH-227B ?, it was very popular with regional airlines in the US from the 60's to the 90's, notable for it's high wing with good window views, and those RR Dart engines just screamed.

Know about that, it's a Fokker F.27, not a Fairchild-Hiller FH-227B, they may look somewhat

similar but they are different aircraft.

yeah, it was a license built US variant, not an original design...dont think you will have much luck anyone looking into creating one but good luck all the same.

Thanks, the closest thing we have now is the Just Flight Fokker F.27 for FSX/P3D, to get to the Fairchild-Hiller FH-227B it would be a simple development, just put in a simulated 6 ft. fuselage plug in front of the wing, adjust the ride height to accomodate the longer fuselage, maybe adjust engine power in the .cfg and it's done., well of course do it for X-Plane 11.
