Setting up XP-11 views to mimic P3D v4 Keyboard assignments??

Really? Shift plus 4 for interior and then shift plus 9 for exterior view is easier than simply right clicking your mouse and having a menu come up with most views accessible ?

Agreed those shift-key assignments are not easy but the customisable Quick Views for the NumPad keys are a stroke of genius.

The only thing I have not liked about Xplane11's views is that interior views, like wing views, default back to the cockpit when I cycle back from spot view and I have to set them up again, although I only do this on a few aircraft anyway, I wish I could revert back to the view I just left rather than back into the cockpit, which I only like to be in when the autopilot is off and I am hand flying for takeoff or approach and landing.  I changed some of the view keys to make it easier to pan when my joystick is not in use.  But I do not mind the differences between Xplane and P3D otherwise, they are just different sims and I accept them as that.  After hours of use my memory just remembers the different keystrokes between the sims and I can switch easily and seamlessly.  I only use the view switches when playing back a recorded flight so I can share screenshots in the screenshots forum, or record a rare video.  But that is about it for me.

I can access any custom view from spot view or other hot key views by simply pressing the appropriate key on the number pad.

And I think the view even cycles back to the previous view if the view's hotkey is pressed again.

If you press a numpad key, you get the associated quick view. If you press it again, the previous view is recalled.

Also, you can program a view on the fly with CTRL+numpad. Just decide which numpadkey you want to use for that temporary point of view.

Thanks so much, great to remember, will try it out now......

Is there a posted list to assign keys in X-Plane like in fs9, FSX or P3Dv4?
