Any chance we could have KCGX added to the internal database...I'm getting an error: User aircraft at 41.861777,-87.609504, don't know which airport?

Added to version 9.32.

I thought that Meigs airfield was closed in 2003? Will there be any live traffic in RealTraffic (except for flying over)?

Nico,

Meigs wasn't closed...the runways were torn up in the dark-of-night by the communist mayor of Chitcago. As a result, unfortunately the airport no longer exists IRL. To be honest, I didn't think about the fact that obviously there won't be any RealTraffic...lol. So I suppose it really doesn't matter whether it's included in the database...other than flying in, if it's listed as Destination airport in PSXseeconTraffic, then it would populate with parked aircraft - would that work?

An interesting story - My brother and I left 7W5 (Henry County, Ohio) at about 8:00 a.m. flying to Meigs on Sept. 11, 2001 (yep, that 9/11), on our way to the big printing show, Graph Expo. We had been in the day before, and when leaving the show on 9/10/11, it was a beautiful day, so we walked from McCormick, through the park, around the yacht basin, past the aquarium to the field to head back to 7W5. Anyway, on the fateful following day, we were enroute between South Bend, IN and Gary, IN, listening to Gary approach talking to a King Air, with the King asking for clearance through Gary airspace for a short hop from Valpraiso to Midway. The controller denied clearance, and said "The FAA has issued a nationwide groundstop. All aircraft are to return to their home base, or land at the nearest airport." Fortunately my brother was pilot in command, so I suggested he contact Gary and ask what was going on. The controller's response was to repeat exactly the groundstop order, and suggest we return to home base or land at Goshen...which were were currently overflying...and then suggested were turn on the news when we got on the ground...that he was not authorized to divulge the cause for the order. We had only been on the ground and in the Goshen pilot's lounge for a few minutes when an Indiana State Patrol helicopter landed...even he had been grounded. We had to have an employee from our business drive in to pick us up, and my brother didn't get his plane back for over 2 weeks...and had to pay two instrument rated pilots to fly in to get it and fly it home.

So, the whole point is, that Meigs holds a certain place of importance for me.

Yes that will work and also if you start from there you will see parked aircraft.
