What happened to SunSkyJet?

Recommended Posts

Remember the great freeware group that released KPHL for FSX back a few years ago? I loved their freeware scenery and about a year ago it seemed they were almost finished with KDTW but what happened??

From their Facebook https://www.facebook.com/sunskyjet their last post was from July of 2017.. and they posted night shots with the scenery, usually an implication that it's nearly done..

Maybe they stopped because of P3D V4? Anyone know?

Yeah DTW is still coming along. We just have to give them time. I can imagine a scenery of that size being done by few people in their spare time is a huge task.

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

We are here. I have a early beta running with me but Ian the other half of SSJ is slowly working through some of the complexities of this large airport.

Hi Shez, do I assume this will be for FSX only?

Actually a good question.

The project has been underway for so long, that a FS9 version was (originally) planned. I'm not sure, if it still is... I doubt, that it's going to be compatible with Prepar3D v4?

Would be nice to know.
