In their update, Carenado shows a default 530 and 430, but only actually lists support for the RXP GTN750.

Does this mean the 530/430 don't work, or, have limited functionality (such as 3d knobs not working) or something?

Hi,

This means their aircraft ships with a pre-configured 3D panel with the GTN 750.

This usually includes the 3D bezel and the screen in the 3D cockpit, most likely a popup window too and the configuration file (RealityXP.GTN.ini) pre-configured with standard settings for this aircraft.

This doesn't preclude using the Reality XP GNS V2 though, especially since it is super easy in XPlane: just select the aircraft with the stock GPS, follow the GNS V2 User's Manual tutorial for configuring the GNS V2 to render in the 3D Cockpit, enable the GNS V2 settings "User Simulator GPS Commands", and you're done!
