FSX-MS Can't edit airplane.cfg fiile.

--------------------------->>OK     UAC off and run with account level Administrators. With Win 7 I never got this mess., only Win 10.

Right Click on the folder, Lear45 and select Properties.  Go to the Security Tab and, under Group or User Names, click on Users.  Look at the permissions for Users.  You should have full control.  If not, click on Edit and give yourself full control.  It appears you did not install FSX with Admin Privileges.

Since this might happen with other files, you should Take Ownership.  Download the file at the following link and follow the instructions - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3841-add-take-ownership-context-menu-windows-10-a.html

Once installed, you would right click your FSX directory and look for Take Ownership in the menu, click on that and it will give you ownership of all of the files.  If will not affect the operation of FSX or any other program or addon.

Its why I and many others install simulators outside of Program Files folders.
