Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, my Button version still has the Split IRS and No land 3 warnings.

Make sure all the EIU knobs are in the "auto" position on the Capt and FO's side.

They are, both of them.

I haven't tried without the pre-flights yet.

The funny thing is that it seems to make no actual difference: I carried out an auto land after a 12 hour flight quite successfully despite having those warnings.

I will raise a query on PMDG and see what happens.

After extensive checking, the problem seems to be that the FO turns the APU off while the engines 1&2 are still starting.(I don't use ground power). While the APU runs all 3 IRS's are working. Once the engines start (4&3) one IRS has power but the other two are cut off with the shut down of the APU and this causes this error. If I manually turn the APU on again and wait 7 minutes for the IRS's to reset, all is fine.

Am I right to think that the APU should be on until all engines have settled?

Hi Bryan,

You have hit the nail on the head.

I watched the lower overhead while the engines were starting and I had been starting the Taxi procedure when GSX gave the "all clear". This is about

2 minutes too early. If I wait for the ignition lights to extinguish first, then everything happens as it should.

Thanks for being so patient with such a small matter. Much appreciated.
