has P3d HDR got to be tuned on ?? with your pta preset

im using flyinside  for vr  but flyinside automatically turns off HDR

as a result the terra hase and horizon is dark and not as bright as shown in your screen shots

Harry, unfortunately I can not give you recommendations on the settings using flyinside. Of course, if you turn off the HDR, you can not adjust the brightness, color saturation and bloom. In the archive next to the textures of the sky and the solar effect, there are text files with recommendations for tuning the HDR. The figures are approximate. You must configure the parameters at your discretion. The brightness of the sky will strongly depend on the combination of brightness and bloom values in different ranges. I often adjust the values in the process of changing flight conditions, since it is almost impossible to make a universal set and a preset for the PTA for flights at different times of the year, in different weather conditions and in different geographical latitudes.

On many not very high-quality monitors, the earth can look very dark. In this case, you need to set the contrast in the PTA as in the screenshot or turn off the checkbox completely. My screenshots in bad weather were made with the contrast checkbox turned off.
