MCE + PF3 (networked) integration questions

Recommended Posts

1) In MCE.ini under [ATC] section:

IgnorePFERegistry=1

PFEpath=indicate_yours

Why in RC4 case it has one additional line above PF3 ?

UseRadarContact=

Any other settings that I should add in MCE?

2) What are the necessary settings in PF3 (on a network PC) to work with MCE?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Do not write the path yourself in "PFEpath=indicate_yours"

When MCEv starts and sees "ignorePFEregistry=1", it will prompt you for the network path.

Browse to "PF3.exe" or "PF_Emulator.exe" in remote computer and it will write the path to ini itself.

Once it knows where PFG3 (or PFE) is installed, it will be able to read settings like assigned hotkeys, flight plan and call-sign.

Edit: Also important to set "Mode=PFE"

That "UseRadarContact=1" is now obsolete.

It used to be there when MCE was only switching between Native and RC4 only. Now it's the "mode" that determines which ATC is in use.

Which is the latest MCE.exe update? I mean where can I get one?

Thanks!
