New P3D install of B737 - No HUD

Featured Replies

Hi against my better judgement i have paid again for the PMDG B737 this time in P3D V4.

I have run the installer as admin and done a flight.  All aspects seem ok except for the hud which drops down but nothing is displayed'  I have seen a mention that this line below needs to be in the programmedata dll which it is but there is no hud.  I have also pressed the Clr button on the hud control which someone suggested in another post.

<Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG_HUD_interface</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_HUD_interface.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon>

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Thank you

Tim Carter

I had this problem myself recently and it was caused by a corrupted dll.xml file. It is most likely the same in your case but you need to see the whole file to find out what the problem is.

Either attach the complete file here or submit a ticket to PMDG with the file attached and they will fix it for you.
