Hello Dave,

Just started a fllght between New York and Frankfurt (KJFK-EDDF) and it seems to be a recognised problem only for the transatlantic waypoint.

I send you my logfile via e-mail in a few minutes.

I copied and pasted the flight plan and removed the ** after each of the NATs waypoints, set the source as PFPX and it imported correctly.

What problem did you have with it?

Dave

Hello Dave,

It was the ** after each NATs waypoints causing the problem.

I'd no problem with the previous version.

I'll check the source on my side.

Thanks for your answer

Hello Dave,

Where do you find "source as PFPX" ? In your program ?

Thanks for your clarification.

OK founded PFPX source it's via the button "FP Imprt" BUT I don't use this method. I import my .pln flightplan via my folder Prepar3Dv4 Files using the bottom button named "Impt" (bottom right) (see my capture screen here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/v1coqmxdx645b2n/pilot2ATC.JPG?dl=0).

With the previous version it was working perfectly.

If you use my method you will see that the Letter "N" is placed BEFORE the numbers.

When I use your method and after deleted the ** and imported in Pilot2ATC the letter N is placed AFTER the numbers.

Ahh.  OK.  I see what's happened.

In the AIRAC data, the NAT waypoints have the N after the Numbers.  When this version of P2A cannot find a valid waypoint, it appends the ** to the name so you can resolve the issue before trying to use the flight plan.

I assume that PFPX is giving the NAT waypoints in the form Nxxxx and when P2A tries to import them, they are not in the AIRAC data and so the ** is appended.

I would have assumed that PFPX would use the AIRAC notation, so I'm wondering if my theory is correct.  If you could email the .pln file to me at admin@pilot2atc.com I'll have a look and see if that is what's going on.

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks Marc.

I was able to confirm that PFPX is putting out the NAT waypoints in a form that is not consistent with the AIRAC data.  I've adjusted the import function to allow for this in the next update.
