Drove 6 hours overnight to NYC, took the test, and then got right back in my car and drove 6 hours back home. #accurate Just the one at the bottom of my post. The info under the black background in the image below was never shown publicly because it gave too much away. bahahahaha ...but seriously, though, RTFM... This is already announced. We have a full 748 sim being built up for when the 748 releases: https://flightdecksolutions.com/pmdg-to-use-fds-hardware/ There's a great image from a while back. It's a banner that a zoo somewhere put up and it's a lion roaring with "learn" written off to the side: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nfMSkt3uzDawgkKl96-52Cw3zsM7EVWk That's me, in this case... April 10, 20188 yr Maybe they're going to announce a joint venture with LvlD and finally deliver the 757; ala what Aerosoft did with CRJ... Matt King

This could make a little more sense given the 10-year timescale, but I'm still going to hold out hope for a 787 announcement. Everyone is reading the "big" in the marketing too much - it's exactly that: marketing. It's a new product line, so I don't think it likely to be anything other than an aircraft. There's a few bits of speculation in this thread that it's been 10 years in the making because of waiting for sim advancements and breakthroughs to get to a point where the 787 would be possible. Look at the new stuff in the 747-8 expansion, all of that has paved the way (IMO) to the 787 (and of course the MAX, using those big wide screens). Karl Brooker

I'm not sure how developers communicate with each other about projects (if at all), but if PMDG announced a 787, it would damage Quality Wings significantly (if they don't get their version to market before the announcement) Edited April 10, 20188 yr by ErichB

Why can't two go after the same product? Is it unfair on PMDG that iFly also do a 737 and 747 product? How about Captain Sim doing a 777 too? What about Aerosoft, Labs, and Blackbox all doing the A320? Aerosoft and BBS both doing the A330? 1 hour ago, ErichB said: I think Mr Randazzo used the words 'HUGE,' in caps. Yea, he actually said "YUGE" which could point towards Trump, and therefore his 757, adding more credence to PMDG maybe having picked up the LDS 757 development. Karl Brooker

April 10, 20188 yr I think that QW would still sell their 787 even if PMDG made one. Just like FSL and Aerosoft don't fight for each others customers. Just look at the Aerosoft Forums - their A320 "professional" is highly anticipated, even though the more accurate simulation of the airplane is already available. BUT I don't think they will announce another airplane, given that they worked on it for the last 10 years behind closed doors. I think what ever they made won't exclusively benefit their products.
