Tutorial for polished metal aircraft skin

The back half seems to have changed in color... lighter in fact. Seems ok in previous pics posted. The alphas or spec map has changed?

It was really frustrating. The existing shield layer was very dark but the nose segment was not aligned - you can see that in one of my early pics. So I figured I'd just replace the nose with my own. After lots of trial and error I was just unable to match the colors. I used the eyedrop tool to pick the color from the back portion but the nose was always too dark.

Ultimately I created my own layer for both parts - I thought the darker black looked too harsh so I went for a lighter tone in both.

Its breaking your mind , eating your nerves, its bad for relations ( unless the partner is disturbed likewise)

BUT

In the end its rewarding , you`ll get calm and happy again.
I think you get the feel of it now.

Oh yes. Those two little bits took forever but I'm pleased. Think I'll tackle the A2A AT6 next. That should keep me out of trouble for a while! 😁
