Flying the Line (Alaska/Horizon Northwest US Edition)

The tour to be conducted in two or more parts.

Starting from Seattle (SEATAC) airport we will fly a series of legs to smaller cities in the Northwest in regional airliner type aircraft.   Think of it as an Alaska/Horizon Airlines Line Check for prospective Q400 pilots.

 Recommended Scenery: Orbx PNW  & Orbx CRM

Participation is not limited to Q400 drivers, As always you are free to fly any aircraft you prefer.  Keep in mind that the Q400 can cruise at 350knts so a faster aircraft will allow you to keep up with group.

NOTAM

• Horizon Airlines use the C Gates at Seattle SEATAC.   Recommend that you choose a starting point at one of the small C gates so we will not be spread all over the airport.  I shall be starting at C12.
• KGPI (Glacier Park International) is also know as KFCA (Kalispell).  If you do not have the Turbulent Design KGPI you may need to use KFCA for those legs.
• I will be on-line at 13:30 for the q400 preflight process.

During the week I did a couple of flights with the Q400. I felt I shouldn't wimp out with yet another pathetic display of ineptitude...

So I'm using the Flight1 King Air B200. What a delight!

Postscript.  I thought I was doing pretty well with the Q400 but it seems that I got caught out.  Picture below of the blowout of the tires on the right main after landing at Pendleton.
