Good Laptop to run FSX or P3D

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking to get a gaming PC to be able to run FSX or P3D with good FPS with a range of addons such as 737NGX, PMDG 777, Aerosoft Airbus X, Orbx Global, Open LC Europe etc.

WIll a Laptop with these specs be good enough to run FSX or P3D at 20 FPS+?

Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Processor
- Quad-core
- 2.8 GHz / 3.8 GHz (Turbo Boost)
- 6 MB cache

RAM 8 GB DDR4 (2133 MHz)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
- 2 GB GDDR5

1 TB HDD, 7200 rpm

15.6"

1920 x 1080

Or is there a better option for under £1000?

Cheers

I would suggest a 1060 or 1070 & 16 gigs ram. You've got a good cpu but the video card will be a bottle neck. Plus, you'll be more future proofed for a longer useful life as far as performance goes.
