Do this every time you install new driver or change settings, or change something in p3d.cfg

every time... fixes most problems according to Rob and Poppet.

Hello,

I had this problem and then it developed into the PC rebooting randomly

when running P3D.

In my case, it turned out to be the PSU, a new one has solved both problems.

Based on my experience, I am reasonably sure that the error is hardware related.

That's strange. My PSU is only 4 moths old and don't having any problems in other programs. And it's also strange that the problem always occur within the landing section of the flight no matter how long the flight is.

I didn't have any problems with any other software either and I am not suggesting that this is the definitive cause.

Based only on my experience, P3D v4 revealed a weakness in my PSU that nothing else did.

I read dozens of topics and not one of them had a definitive answer, only dozens of guesses, like this one.

I am lucky that for me, my guess was the right one.

One definitely has to clear the shaders cache after installing a new video driver. The driver compiles the HLSL text files into binaries and each driver may change the compilation method .

Thanks guys, three flights done after clearing the shaders and everything back to normal!

It's still strange that I always get the error at the same time in the flight as I said earlier. Approach or landing. If I get it. And the windows background sound

Approach and landing big scenery processing areas as the object aircraft is moving at high speed through very detailed scenery.
