I served in the Canadian Military, long before PC... no political comments necessary, this guy really made me “humoursly” remember my service and I am still able to laugh at it:

I heard about his passing the other day.  My favorite two war movies were Guns of Naverone, and Battle of Britain.  I have the latter on video, Battle of Britain is a true flying enthusiasts movie made before the days of CGI, I watch it at least once a year.
