...and it requires dynamic lights to be turned off at night because the flood lighting is too bright (?)

As much as I like the ERJ's, These would be a step back, mainly for the cockpit night lighting.

What a pointless update. Unless of course it's to set up a platform for a complete update....

One can wish.

If they updated some of the things (lighting, WX, maybe some other smaller things) I'd purchase. Until then waiting for a better version of the ERJs.

This actually was the better version of the two.  I may give it a shot when it's on sale.

There are some ERJ Mods posted in the Feelthere forum (some dealing with night lighting from what I remember), I haven't purchased this version yet but the mods made for the old E-jets v2 worked for me in the newer P3D version.

So disappointed in Feelthere!  This is twice now.  I agree, a pointless release, except to line their pockets.

Pointless? Please point us to other ERJ options for P3D.  To my knowledge, there’s only one and that’s nowhere near on par with this model.  While I’d like to see an updated version, I don’t view this release as ‘pointless.’   Maybe if there were other options...

I agree.  I don't believe releasing this ERJ was pointless at all.  I enjoyed this simulation when I used it in FSX and I purchased it as soon as I heard that it was available for P3Dv4. No regrets.

Plus, its only 25 USD; it's not like they're charging PMDG/FSLab prices.  By the reaction here, you would think they're charging $50+....

Picked their first release for $15 during a recent sale. Zero complaints from me.

I agree. If you want to fly an ERJ in P3DV4 then this is most likely it. Or wait two years for another one. Which might be incrementally a little better than this. Your choice.

Let me remind everyone, this particular aircraft was a lot of fun in FSX and I would definitely recommend it just as a fun aircraft to fly. It has most systems that are on the real thing. Yes no weather radar but is that a killer for me...No. I have ASP4 etc. which can pretty much tell you what the weather is going to be like.

Don't get fooled by the "simple port over from FSX" statement.
