RXP GNS530W

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

When I purchased the Alabeo C310R II yesterday, it gives the option to use the installer supplied to add the RXP GNS 530.

Details are:

REALITY XP INTEGRATION
This aircraft has the feature of changing ONLY the default Alabeo GNS530 (COM1/NAV1) for the Reality XP GNS530.
You need to have the Reality XP GNS530 installed in your computer before making this modification.

PREPARING THE AIRCRAFT FOR REALITY XP GNS530
Double click on the RXP530.exe file which will modify the aircraft configuration changing the default Alabeo GNS530 with the reality XP GNS530. YOU MUST HAVE INSTALLED REALITY XP GNS530 IN YOUR COMPUTER.
THIS INSTRUMENT IS SOLD SEPARATELY (www.reality-xp.com).

Reality XP now has the GNS 530W which is the latest version.  Will the installer configure the 530W or is it not compatible?

Thank you in advance.

Fred

I installed the RXP V2 G530 without issue as follows:

1.) Run the default G530 at least once;

2.) Install the RXP G530 app within Alabeo;

3.) If you are running P3D, the RXP G530 won't operate as it recognizes only the legacy version which is non-functional in P3D

4.) Install the RXP V2 G530 using the RXP install tool. RXP G530 should now operate.

Overall, it is easy to install the RXP V2 G530. It's been awhile since I now only utilize the Milviz C310R Redux version. If you continue to have trouble, I suggest the AVSIM RXP forum for excellent support.
