Taxi2Gate OTHH P3DV4.2

Recommended Posts

After finding out from fselite about OTHH being compatible with P3dv4, I bought it from simmarket, but I am having problems installing it. Does anyone know how to properly install it? Any assistance will be appreciated a lot!

Was that recent on fselite?  I hadn’t seen that and didn’t think it was compatible yet.

What issues are you having?

It works fine. The installer will install to a place of your choosing. I pointed it to my simmarket folder in V4 and created a new folder called OTHH and then just manually added the respective folders inside if. Make sure it’s OTHH at the top followed by OTHH CITY and then OTHH terrain, I think.

Bear in mind that there will be no traffic from UT Live as it still goes (annoyingly) to the old long closed Doha.

The installer for T2G OTTH has not been updated for P3D v4 as yet. I think only EDDM, KSEA and LPFG have native P3Dv4 installers.

As stated by Ben above, the current P3D v3 installer can be used to install to P3D v4.x but you will have to add the scenery manually, and in the order mentioned above.

Unfortunately no word from T2G on timelines for the updates.

Hope this helps

Kind regards

I was just in the process of following Ben's instructions on installation. I created a folder "OTHH" in my Simmarket folder in my root Prepar3dv4 folder and proceeded with the installation. Is this correct? As per the scenery order, how can I reorder it the way Ben mentioned? Thanks in advance!

From the Install Guide:

Quote

You have to add first the OTHH-Terrain folder.
 Then add OTHH-CITY folder, so now you will have to see OTHH-CITY folder upper than OTHH-Terrain in your Scenery Library List.
 Then add OTHH folder, so now you will have to see OTHH folder upper than OTHH-CITY in your Scenery Library List. Now you can try the scenery.

After install, you should have something like this:

OTTH.jpg

Run P3D and navigate to the Scenery menu, add the scenery manually (Click Add Area, select the parent folder e.g. OTHH-TERRAIN, click OK). Start with OTHH-TERRAIN, then OTHH-CITY and then OTHH as the last import:

OTTH_2.jpg

Click OK and load up OTHH, via a new scenario. If all went well, you should see your scenario spawning with the scenery active😞

I got help on installation issues. Fselite has a map of all the airports compatible with P3dv4 on their website; it was listed there.

Do note that using some old airports that use pre fsx technique for rendering ground details can cause the autogen fail to load depending on the direction of arrival. Changing to destination tower view for a short time when descended below FL100 is sometimes able to trigger the autogen loading.

Hi Raphael

Have you manually added the scenery in the correct order:

1. Important: You have to add first the TFFR-Terrain folder

2 Then add OTHH-CITY folder, so now you will have to see OTHH-CITY folder upper than OTHH-Terrain in your Scenery Library List.

3 Then add OTHH folder, so now you will have to see OTHH folder upper than OTHH-CITY in your Scenery Library List. Now you can try the scenery.

I followed this installation guide, added the scenery manually but all autogen buildings in the area are black.

I believe that there’s a fix for the black autogen on their iflysimx forum. Sorry you’ll have to dig around a bit for it as I don’t have a direct link.

Cheers, thats the point in the right direction i needed.

Downloaded the texture files from here, and installed them in the p3d/textures folder. No more black autogen buildings around Hamad.
