Scandinavian FO

Recommended Posts

Hi Bryan,

I'm using the latest version for P3D v4.

1. The scandinavian FO states "Engine Anti-Ice coming on", even if I say "engine Anti-ice off". The green bar says "Engine Anti-Ice off", and the FO indeed turns the engine anti ice back to off.

2. When passing 4000-5000 feet, the FO first asks "you want to release the cabin crew now?". I reply Yes, and he states "checked". I also see on the green bar that "Yes" is showing up. However, when passing 10000 feet, he asks "you want to release the cabin crew now"? Why the same twice?

Best regards

Kyrre Andersen

Hi Kyrre,

1. I listed to the original audio file for that.  It's hard to make out exactly what he's saying.  It's not really "on" or "off"... it sounds in-between.

2. We modeled it correctly.  FO is asking you if you want to release the FA's so they can start their service.  The next one at the higher altitude is about releasing the pax so they can walk around.

Hi Bryan,

Thanks. But regarding the call at 10000 feet, it works but shouldn't the call at 10000 feet be "you want to release the cabin" or "you want to release the passengers"?

Best regards

I listened to the original recordings.  The Scandinavian voice actor can be a bit hard to make out sometimes.  To give the sim more spice, there's more than one variation of the same recording for many of sounds.  Some of the possible recordings are: "want to release the cabin"... "happy to release the cabin crew".... "shall I release the cabin"...

That's great Bryan 🙂

I understand now.

One more thing I noticed - he doesn't state "Master Caution - Anti-Ice" during the after landing flow,
