Problem with PTA, cycling to bright and dark ground textures..

Hello guys, I ask you some help to see whats going on with my sim.

 

since I installed PTA using MattFDavies profile this is what it happends to my sim:

Actually I use P3D v4, REX sky Force and ActiveSky for P3dv4.

hi guys

same problem. didn't find something in the forum and have no idea.

Actually, i use P3D v4.5 and ActiveSky for P3dv4.

tried to delete the shaders folder and the prepar3d.cfg - no results - problem still exists...

Some additional Info's. I use the preset from rdpresets.com.

Reinstall P3Dv4 client

Reinstall PTA

Use a PTA preset that is compatible with your sim

It is possible. Incompatible preset can create some issues. I had dark terrain similar to what you showed on pics above. I use AS and EF and I used RD preset. Everything looked really nice specifically clear VC. However I started seeing brown cloud and horizon. I changed to Matt's preset and the problem was solved but colors and saturation are not what I really like. Try different preset and you may see problem resolved.
