The greenbar info is retrieved by fsInsider64.dll running inside P3D.

What version is that?

Make sure you set "Prepar3D.exe" to run as admin, and if using a launcher app like "SimStarter", "FPS_Limiter" or other, ensure the launcher app is also running as admin.

Otherwise Windows may block fsInsider64.dll sending data to "mce.exe" which runs externally to the sim for better stability of the latter.

Thanks mate, will check if the P3D is running as admin after the upgrade.

if not will set it and report back.

thanks for the quick response.

Nope, no joy.

P3D is running as administrator.

just that MCE is not acting on the green bar instructions.

do I need to download and install the latest version of MCE?

Make sure you didn't disable doors handling in "mce.ini"

[RAMP]

NoPaxDoorsAutoHandling=0 (should be 0)

NoCargoDoorsAutoHandling=0 (should be 0 for MCE to react on cargo door prompts)

Eventually re-set MCE config to factory settings.

Maybe a good idea to re-install. Here is the direct link to latest package

Mate, is there a way I can check if the fsinsider64.dllmis running.

i upgraded from p3d v4 to 4.2, not sure if fsinsider64 is getting loaded when I run the sim now.

When it doesn't load, MCE won't be able to connect to P3D at all, and you'd get a message regarding that.

Go to \Prepar3D v4\ main installation folder and check @fsInsider64.dll is present there along with <MCE dlls> folder.

\if fs\insider64.dll is missing, manually copy and paste it from downloaded unzipped file.

If you have re-installed P3D, it's possible "dll.xml" (a P3D file) has reverted to default empty file.

In that case, briefly run MCE app wizard. No need to go through speech training.

Windows menu Start->All Apps->Multi Crew Experience->Run app wizard.

Among other things, the wizard will ensure "dll.xml" references fsInsider64.dll so that P3D V4 can load it on start-up

fsinsider.dll is present and all other files mentioned are present.

check dll.xml, that looks ojk, has the entry for fsinder.dll

what else could be going wrong ? wante to check before reinstall.

should i run the app wizard ?
