GNS and UK 8.33

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I was just wondering if you are going to update the GNS430/530 or enable an option to support the UK's 8.33kHz change which is being rolled out at the moment.

I had a quick look and couldn't see anywhere within the GNS to set this so assuming it is not currently an option!? I know this is not an issue if you are using the original simulator data, but I have updated most of my information with current details so I can dial in the correct frequencies.

Thanks
Rob

The tuning resolution is part of the core sim... until it supports 8.33... you won't see it.  No matter if you have the real frequencies, you can't get the sim to tune them.

Ah - I see.

I should have known it would be far more complicated than I thought! It'll probably never happen then!

Thanks for the reply.

Ya never know... maybe by the time we get our stuff moved to 64-bit for Prepar3D L-M will have added the functionality... just never know.
