If I`m not mistaken, Robert once mentioned he`s very impressed by the DCS World engine. So therefore, could it be something for that platform? 🤔

It is indeed a very impressive platform. I'm having a blast with the F/A-18C Hornet.

I don't know why, but I'm having a hard time seeing PMDG develop a military aircraft... But we'll see...

Only a few hours left now before they announce my PMDG 787 😄

PC- AMD Ryzen 7800X3D, 64gb 6400mhz RAM, Nvidia RTX4090

Anyway, my final guess is a RJ (E190 or CRJ), since it would fill a gap in their product line and there are no decent renditions of those airplanes for P3Dv4 - the AS one is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Also, anyone remember the Dash-8 100/200 they started to work on many years ago? 😛  (Just posting this for the record and to see whether I was right after the announcement. 😄

The only thing I hope that may take PMDG 10 years to cook is a new sim platform. I really hope PMDG is trying to build its own sim platform. One of the main reasons would be to get rid of FSX or P3D limitations regarding flight dynamics and so on.

Seriously? 10 years to build A 787 or 757/767 family?...

After much thought, and given that the good folks at PMDG are airplane nuts of the first order (as, proudly, am I), I'm voting for Concorde. From PMDG, THAT would be one remarkable sim!

Unfortunately I don’t think it’s a new aircraft as that would be counter productive in that the 747-8 might get overlooked or might not sell as well, if they released a new product near the same time as the 747-8 release. So it’s going to be something else. 1 hr and 38 m to go before they start their presentation
