Recommended Posts

Hi, i'm new with LINDA,

i have problem just with GoFlight RP-48 module, LINDA reconize it just as A:1 B:8 H:0, the RP48 have 4 rotary and 8 buttons.

From Fsuipc the rotary are reconized as buttons but Linda doest reconize at all.

I wrong something in config? Can you help me please?

THank you

There is nothing wrong with your configuration. LINDA only recognises devices with buttons and HATS. You will need to use FSUIPC for your rotaries.

Thank you Scot,

is there a way to use the .lua file of LINDA FSLabs A320?

LINDA will be implemented to reconize RP-48?

FSUIPC cannot call LINDA functions. Any code you want call would need to be placed in its own .lua file is the modules directory. The LINDA FSLabs A320X code uses up and down rotation of the VRi MCP knobs to control the FCU SPD/HDG/ALT values. You would need to decode the RP-48 rotary  rotation.

There are no plans or demand for LINDA to work with Go Flight hardware.

In past i used a Lua file in Fsuipc for AS A320, i also was able to implement the code to add functions, now i think is different...

If is not too complicated can you implement the use of RP48? Imean add rotary function?

Thank you

If you have an existing .lua file for the Aerosoft A320 then you will need to look at the code and find out what matches that from the LINDA module from that aircraft. Then find the similar function in the FLabs module and copy it to a new .lua file. It is not rocket science, but nit something I can do for you.

The issue with the GF devices is that LINDA simply cannot see the rotaries and no code can be written to handle them. Without access to your GF device it WOULD be too complicated to even think about.

No support for GoFlight hardware can be provided. Without the hardware it is impossible to investigate or development software for it. Sorry.

Scot, if you want you could ask to GoFlight or talk with Peter Dowson that know GoFlight hardware...

In RP48 the 4 rotary in FSUIPC are reconized like button, each rotary have 4 buttons.

It is not going to happen. I do not have the time or inclination. End.
