Thanks. Will try it.

Doesn't that just arm the approach?  We're talking about an HSI with CDI needle (the app mode on the 737 NG)

How do pilots navigate on the map mode?  You can't tell deviation on/off course

Here's the page I want to see - how to get a "traditional" HSI.... like the old 737 NG

@tooting is this possible on modern airliners?

When manually setting nav radios for VOR L & R, do you get accurate DME distance  info for each? I seem to be getting the same DME distance for different stations.

Also, I can't get it to follow a radial course to a station. Not sure how.

I meant, I can't find the equivalent of a VOR nav mode to get the AP to follow a radial.

I think Ryan and I are trying to do the same thing... fly it 'old school' VOR to VOR .

Mark - I thought I was having the same issue but the trim while on the ground moves very slow.  Hold your trim for at least 5 seconds and you will see the change...

I use fsuipc and found that if I use the built in trim option then the trimming was slow to start. If I use the fsuipc key commands ( I think number pad 7 and 1) the trim functions as it does in the real airplane. You only have to hold the the trim down for about a second before it moves. I hope this makes sense.

Scott, setting it up with the key commands instead of the default FSUIPC setting works much better!  Thanks!

After a few flights, I can safely say it needs some fine-tuning to LNAV, because it undershoots and overshoots a lot of turns, some pretty severely. There's some small things with the EFB, settings, and baro pre-select that are pretty annoying, but it's usable.

I noticed in rw flight videos that the HUD in the B787 is always in use for takeoff and landings.  I am trying to use it in the QW787 but it is really poorly done.  It jerks around so much trying to follow the prompt (FPV).  That does need some work.

I always forget it's there.  11 flights and still in the up position!

Looks like they just announced on Facebook some items for their upcoming v1.2 update. Looks like some really good stuff. Zero excuses for me personally not to buy it after 1. 2 drops.

RealLight coming in this update. Great news! The rudimentary VC lighting was disappointing so I'm really happy to see this.

Anyone else have the SP tank their autothrottle functionality in CRZ mode? Immediately after installing the updates I'm unable to complete a flight as the autoflight system ceases to control the engines in CRZ. No help on QW forums (beyond the usual "reinstall P3d and all your add-ons" suggestions 🙄 )
