I am running PSXseecon.Traffic which normally functions ok. I am not receiving the message Too many AI aircraft could not be created, see the log

Manual section 5.3:

"Activate your AI-aircraft in your Simulator and/or check that the AI_liveries.txt file in use reflects the AI aircraft currently installed in your Simulator."

Sorry to sound dumb, but how to I activate AI in p3dv4?

The installer of the BVAI package should have done that for you. From your first post I understand that it had worked. If so, were there any changes made to P3D afterwards?

Maybe you should uninstall BVAI and re-install.

It is of course also possible to manually activate the BVAI aircraft in P3D. There are several websites that describe how to do that. Just Google...

Hi , I have a similar problem, i am using UTLive with P3D v4.1, my AI loads fine in the sim , but I keep getting this message about ai aircraft not being created.

another issue- traffic is only visible near or towards an airport, while cruising I get no traffic at all— eg flying from RJAA-KLAX , I’m flying alone no traffic showing .

Why not upgrade free to P3DV4.2 for better compatibility?  P3DV4.1 had a lot of bugs fixed in v4.2.

I will update, but how does that help with the live traffic injection since this comes from external software? maybe I'm missing your point?

There were Carenado aircraft that were crashing all of the time as there were many issues with v4.1.  Individuals contacted Carenado and told them Lockheed Martin was aware of the issue(s) and they would release a fix in the next update (v4.2).  When v4.2 was released, the problems with Carenado aircraft went away.  I do not know if v4.2 fixed any issues for Flight1's UTLive but it seems to me the simconnect might be working better.  Will upgrading to v4.2 fix your issue with UTLive?  We won't know until you upgrade.

Lockheed released v4.0 when they went to 64 bit.  The release was the same as if you upgraded from FS2004 to FSX/Acceleration.  Updates to 4.0 will continue to be made until they release v5.0.  That will be a major release too.

I only commented as I approved your post and saw you have v4.1.  Normally I say out of developer's forums as they are the experts.

ad 1) Checks: Did you run AILGenerator with the UTL aircraft folder as input? If so, did you change the AI_Liveries parameter in the PSXseeconTraffic window to point to the folder where the AI_liveries.txt file created by AILGenerator resides? Are the UTL aircraft activated in P3Dv4.1?

ad 2) Please start a new thread with a new -and good- subject title if you want to discuss a new topic.

"my AI loads fine" .... Did you check that?  Add this line:

ContentErrorReporting=1 

to the [MAIN] section of your Prepar3D.cfg file.

Start P3Dv4, wait till it has completed the start-up, then exit P3D. The file with content errors will be written to your Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files folder.

That must be an error in the RealTraffic data stream. Cannot do anything about that. It's garbage in, garbage out...
