PMDG 747 slowing down

Recommended Posts

Excuse me asking but has there been any recent update of the 747 that could possibly cause her to perform less well (FPS - wise)?  I ask because my 747 used to be one of my best performing models, but recently Ive lost nearly 10 frames.

Thanks

Neil

Neil, please note that PMDG requires that users include a signature block with the user's name, first and last, in all posts in the PMDG forum.
Failure to include a signature will result in removal of the post without comment.

We strongly encourage users to set up a signature block in their AVSim user account, then you never have to worry to remember in the future!

Regarding you question no updates were released for the 744 recently. However if you are usign windows 10 I would recommend to check that all your drivers are up to date. Win10 updates are known to rollback drivers to very old versions without notifying the user.

Nope. Our updates require that you know that you're updating (you actually have to hit a button that say "go update the plane"). Sounds like Win updated your driver, or something else changed.

Sorry about that. Will sort that out. I'm not quite sure how you do it at the moment, but I shall read the posts and find out. Thanks for the replies.

Hello Neil,
