LVARs changed for FSLabs

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I'm a user of LINDA and have the latest module for the FSLabs A320 (0.10a).

With the new update (compatibility with P3Dv4.3) A320-X v2.0.1.258 some LVARs must have changed. My ENG START button function, ENG Master Switches on/off, etc. are now triggering other rotaries (like the pedestal light knobs).

Is there any chance for a revision on the module functions? I wouldn't mind hunting them myself, but so far I was unable to find out how to get the console to display the codes for the switches...

I am aware that there are some changes to the button codes with the latest version of FSLabs A320X. Like you I have only just installed the P3Dv4.3 and A320X updates. It will take a little while until I can investigate and work through the required changes.

Thanks, Andrew.

Let me know if I can help. I just need to know how to look for the LVars. I used to be able to do that (on the Aerosoft Airbus using LINDA's console) but somehow I can't seem to make it work with the current LINDA console and FSLabs.

Thank you for the offer. I already have a useful input and am checking through the code now. The mechanism used to analyse the FSLabs implementation is complicated.

New module 0.11 beta is now available to address changes introduced in latest version of A320X for P3D v4.3. Report any issues on this thread.

On a very fast check everything seems to be working. I will report any further finding here although I doubt there will be any problem.

Thank you again for this Andrew. Really nice!

FYI, FSL is on 2.0.1.260 for the A320: https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/17689-a320-x-for-p3d-v42-update-v201260-now-released/

I use GIT with integrated LUA support ... but what specific Lvar are you looking for ... I have noticed a change, but GIT/LUA might be different from LINDA but the Lvars should be the same ... I can double check tonight.

Cheers, Rob.

A number of the control codes have changed particularly in the pedestal area and cockpit lighting. These are annotated in the latest module 0.11.

Thank you Andrew for your fast update!

Do you think is possible to map the mcdu keys as you did in the Maddog module?

It all depends on how FSLabs has ‘encoded’ the MDCU buttons. Many ‘flat’ buttons cannot be operated at this time. Release of the promised A320X Pro version for home cockpit builders with a SDK will be required first.

The MDCU buttons are inaccessible to LINDA using known techniques. Sorry.
