RTO and BACKTRACK

Hello,

 

1/ I would like to know how to manage ATC in the case of an RTO (rejected take-off).

 

2/ Will it soon be possible to request permission for a "backtrack" on runways without access by "taxiways" ?

RTOs and Backtracks are not directly covered in P2A yet.  However, you can try the following.

After an RTO, and when clear of the runway, switch to Ground and request taxi to a gate or back to the Runway.

In a Backtrack situation, tell Tower when you are ready for departure and they should give you instructions to Taxi into Position and Wait.  Taxi to the departure end of the runway and you should get Takeoff clearance when you are properly lined up.
