PMDG 747 with FS2Crew restarting after shut down

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I've checked all over forums and cant seem to find a solution for an issue I'm having. On the 747 and only that aircraft, after I've shut down, I notice engine 4 has been pulled to restart again. At first I thought I might have done something wrong so i used the tutorial step by step and its still happening. This is after FO has said clear to cut engines. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Strange, I don't think so. Only thing I've assigned would be autofeater, prop sync and deactivate the axis for misture to the best of my knowledge but I'll check again.

Sorry for the late reply. I had gone on holiday and had limited access. It seems like I don't have this issue if I start two engines at the same time but I do have it if I start one at a time.

Thanks, I'm still not really sure about this.  Never heard of it before.

You're positive you have no hardware connected to the fuel levers?  Usually if the levers do something odd, it's because the user has hardware that is sending cross signals.

I'm sure, the mixture axis was the only one and I disabled that in the past. I've just done a fresh install for other unrelated issues. Can report if this issue is still happening once I've done installed everything. Thanks so far for help 🙂

Hmmmm, weird.

Please do this:

1. Unplug your joystick.

2. Skip direct to the "After Landing / Cleanup" mode in FS2Crew and start from there just for testing purposes and start from there.

See if you can reproduce with your joystick unplugged.

Thanks,

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you before, its a real hectic time. I'm now doing a flight so once sim doesn't crash I'll try this
