PTA questions

2 questions.  Does PTA need to be running before every flight or do you only run the exe to make changes?  

I am using the 12 month shaders from gsalden along with sky force and with the latest version of P3d, blue sky looks grey, even in tropical places like Florida.  It almost looks like the clouds blend into the sky particularly when panning around.  Any thoughts on what this could be? Let me know if I need to provide additional info. Thanks!

1) You're right - you only need to run the exe if editing/tweaking a preset or changing to another preset. Once it's been run, the P3D shader files are replaced and stay there (until the next PTA change).

2) Gerard's the man to answer this (I'm sure he'll chime in). I think his last set of presets were split into months - so maybe you had the wrong month loaded? I can't easily run his monthlies, as I'm in the southern hemisphere and all the seasons are back to front. I renamed the whole series last time I tried, but every time I jumped into the northern hemisphere (from my more usual NZ locations), the season/colouring was all wrong. That said, I do remember thinking his presets were good.

I also feel that the July preset on this set is very grey. Shez
