linda,p3d v4,pmdg737NGX and MCP-panel -small problem

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have P3D v4 installed, together with Linda 3.0.6, FSUIPC5.xx, and the PMDG737NGX. For my VRI MCP1 panel, I used a prophile, that always used with FSX.

In P3d, this file also works good. All buttons and knobs function properly. There is only one exception: the ALT knob does not react.

Can anyone help me out??

Henk

What functions do you have assigned to the ALT knob?

Under ALT knob in the MCP menu in LINDA, I see:

+ : NGX AP ALT inc

++ : NGX AP ALT inc

- ; NGX AP ALT decr

-- : NGX AP ALT decr

Press : NGX AP ALT INTV

I hop, that's what you mean,

Thanks for the support

Henk

Hi Henk

The assigned functions are correct for the PMDG737NGX. I have tested these with my MCP2 (Boeing) and MCP2a (Airbus) panels are the Altitude is changing correctly. I am unable to test with the MCP1 that you have. Does the ALT work correctly with a Default FSX or any other non-standard aircraft?

I have examined the code behind both Default FSX and NGX and there should be no difference for the MCP1 panel.

Try restarting the LUA Engine. If that does not work please follow the Fault Diagnosis thread and email me the logs.

Hi Andrew

I did mail you the Fault Diagnosis files, but did not get response on that.

Patience please. I have been away working and not had the time to fire up my PC to view the files.
