Congratulations to Bob Scott!

Recommended Posts

On behalf of the AVSIM CEO and Board of Directors', congratulations to Bob Scott (w6kd) for his appointment to the AVSIM Board of Directors'.  Bob has been involved in the flight simulation community since the early 1990’s.  At AVSIM, he has been a member since its creation and has been a volunteer moderator for several years providing technical expertise to our membership and the flight simulation community.  He also has studied programming (C++) and developed programs for FS over the years.  Bob is a high-level retired military officer who has flown Air Transport aircraft during his tour of duty in the United States Air Force.  We look forward to working with Bob and believe his military background and past experiences at AVSIM and the flight simulation community, will provide invaluable assistance to the CEO in keeping AVSIM the premier site for flight simulation!

Thank you Bob!  Welcome aboard!

Will there be some sort of announcement from Avsim regarding the Board appointments.  I think the Board is going from two members previously to now 6 and perhaps more.  I suspect 2 was not enough and this is a bit of right sizing but would be good to get confirmation.  Congrats to all who have been appointed.
