I did the best I could with the answers given in the questionnaire. Here are my answers to the questions as I would like to answer them:1. No, I will wait, see what hardware it needs, determine if I need to upgrade, and upgrade before I buy. If it will run on my hardware as is, I will buy soon. If I need new hardware, I will wait for the next round of hardware to come down in price and then upgrade. I will not likely wait for DX10 hardware, but will probably go relatively cheap on relatively good graphics until it is. I will not expect stellar performance on my current hardware, but will want at least passable detail.2. Answer as is - Yes I am concerned3. Yes, after FSX is released and I can come up with the money to make an upgrade worthwhile.4. I already have a yoke, pedals, TrackIR, and joystick (what's a peddle?). Do I need any other hardware?5. AVSIM and FSBlogsMy current hardware is:1 - Dell D810 laptop 1.83GHz, ATI X300 64 MB Graphics, 1 GB mem2 - AMD 2500+, ATI 9800 Pro 256 MB Graphics, 1 GB mem Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)

Tom,Thanks for the opportunity to allow me to express my thoughts about FSX.It's never been a more difficult time to upgrade to a new computer. Hopefully my existing kit will allow me to run FSX with most of the sliders to the right until DX10 graphics cards are out and Vista is released and stable :-beerchugCheers,
