Hi guys!I'm having an unexpected problem with FS: before formatting my HD, I would get about 15-17fps at the default Seattle airport runway with the Cessna 172SP Skyhawk. Now, I get 5-7Ffps with the same display settings I was using, the same video drivers, FS9 at the same conditions (patched)... the only things that changed is that, now my sound board doesn

Its the sound card - you're using the onbaiord sound and that just sucks the cycles out of the CPU. Hit `q` in the sim and watch the fps climb!Allcott
