HUD doesn't work after update

I was away on vacation for a few weeks so when I got back a few things bugged me to update right away.

PMDG 737NG, Chaseplane, Orbx library, ActiveSky & FSDT all did a update between the time it work then stopped working. But now all work fine with the downloaded P3D installer back in place.

The strange thing is a check my original backed up dll.xml with both before & after installing the 737NG. Neither of them mention the PMDG hud interface dll yet it works no problem with the DL P3D 737NG.

Below is my current working Dll.xml

?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
  <Descr>Launch</Descr>
  <Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>FSUIPC 5</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <Path>Modules\FSUIPC5.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>as_connect</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <Path>as_srv\as_connect_64.dll</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

P3Dv4 we use the dll.xml in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin. The above is from %appdata%

There are two dll.xml files in P3D now.  Addon developers are asked by the SDK to use the one in program data.

Christ beat me.

That explains why I wasn't seeing it in the dll.xml I was looking in, but I can confirm it is in the C:\program data\lockheed martin\dll.xml on my current working installed version.

Hopefully you find something else that could be causing it, as of now my 737ng is back & working so I'm happy.

I also have the same problem. Have not installed anything since the last update. Not sure what I am looking for on this.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="3,0" id="dll">
    <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr>
    <Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
    <Launch.Addon>
        <Name>RAASPRO</Name>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
        <Path>.\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path>
        <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
        <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
    </Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

Posted this link on page 1, and it explains what, why and how:

https://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a92/dll_xml-information-and-troubleshooting.aspx

Something that you installed edited the cfg file improperly, removing our entry. Just need to add it back in (instructions at the link).

Thanks Kyle, guess I should have read that before posting. Fixed now.
