No control with TFDI717

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Chaseplane functions as it should with all my aircraft except with the TFDI 717. There is no camera control/response at all. I'm unable to move the camera with the mouse control or keyboard control. The only function that works is I can switch from Internal to external views but switching between cameras doesn't do anything.

I've tried restarting Chaseplane as well as reinstalling the 717 but still had no luck.

Is there something else I can try?

I'm using P3D V4.3, Windows 10 Chaseplane V 0.4.217 and TFDI V1.1.

Thanks

Just saw your report and it all looks good with no detectable issue from ChasePlane’s point of view.

Are you able to move the camera using the sliders in the Camera > Controls page?

Are you able to move the camera if Advanced Features are disabled in the Preferences?

Thanks Keven.

All seems to work OK if I turn Advanced Features off. Out of curiosity, what do I lose by turning this off?

Advanced Features is just a way for us to test this kind of issue. It disables features like background mode detection, static cameras and smooth zoom.

Have you added the ChasePlane Bridge executable as an exclusion in your antivirus?

Are you exclusively using Windows Defender or another Antivirus on top of that?

Are you loading the same flight with the 717 or are you creating a scenario every time?

I use simstarter and skip the scenario selection screen. It isn't a saved flight though.

If you skip all of that and load a flight the traditional way, does it work?

Yes, can confirm CharsPlane Bridge is excluded.

Same for me. Turning off Advanced Features works as a workaround for both the Tfdi 717 and PMDG 747 (all other planes are OK) but obviously I'm losing smooth zooming.

I have published an update that should fix the issue. Let me know if that's the case!
