PrecipitFX with FLAI & Aerosoft A320

Hi there why does PrecipitfX not work with FLAI or the new Aerosoft A320?

Not aware of FLAI but PrecipitFX works with the AS Airbus

My new AS airbus does not have the precipitfx contrails for some reason and FLAI does nothing no effects for me.

Some Aircraft like the new AS Airbus have custom contrails and need a manual cfg replacement. Let me know if you need help doing that.

The following steps will have to be applied to the aircraft you have in the following folders located in your SimObjects/Airplanes folder of FSX/P3D:

• Aerosoft Airbus A320 CFM
• Aerosoft Airbus A320 IAE
• Aerosoft Airbus A321 CFM
• Aerosoft Airbus A321 IAE
  
   

1. Open the aircraft.cfg file
2. Find the [smokesystem] section
3. on the smoke.0 line, replace fx_contrail_l by fsfx_PFX_3263496B6372304972726C58476F30724A6E6642493438546C5369687130724B
4. do the same on smoke.1
5. Find the [EFFECTS] section
6. replace contrail = fsfx_PFX_3263496B6372304972726C58476F30724A6E6642493438546C5369687130724B //FSFX_PFX_Effect with contrail = fx_dummy //FSFX_PFX_Effect
7. save the document
