Atlanta Hartsfield (KATL) update by Dakota Smith

Recommended Posts

Hello,Is anyone using the updated version of Dakota Smith's Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson KATL airport? I just wanted to know if the gates have been numbered now and if the taxiways leading out of the new runway 10/28 have signs.I currently own the Simflyers Atlanta and since they seem to have disappeared (at least for now), and since I fly on VATSIM, gate numberings and taxiways signs would make things easier when taxiing and parking, if I switch to the Dakota Smith freeware of KATL.Thanks for any help.John.

I tried Dakota Smith's version, but I went with William Morgan's FRF Studio version, since it included Jetways for all the gates where they should be. Dakota's only had about half, that are there. Neither scenery though has runway signs for 10/28 or Numbered gates. Performance on both are about equal and better than the Simflyers scenery.Edit: Actually the FRF version did have a performance issue but, by removing (or renaming the extentions) of the 2 highway bgl's which are quite large, those issues corrected itself! It doesn't affect the airport scenery itself at all only the roads around it.

Thanks

Tom
