GTN 750 with Default Cessna 172 with REP?

Recommended Posts

Hi Jean-Luc,

When i start up the 172 with REP and the GTN750 it comes with a blank screen 750 and says it is GTN750 1. If I close the GTN750 1 and restart the 750 Plug in, it starts up correctly with the GTN750.  On all other aircraft it starts up correctly the first time.  Here is the log:

Hi, like the log says!

The aircraft seems configured with GTN 650 #2, which requires a GTN 650 license.

That's really weird.  It was working fine and then I had to delete the preferences file and it started acting like this.  How can I reconfigure the aircraft to recognize the GTN 750 like it was 2 days ago.

Thanks a lot Jean-Luc,

Howard

Could there be 2 or more 'mods', with different combinations of GTN 750 and GTN 650? Do you have both products or only the RXP GTN 750?

@Howiefly13 I've just updated the RealityXP.GTN.ini for my mod (assuming that's the one you're using).
I'm not sure it's related but maybe this will help.

Also, I would strongly recommend purchasing and using the 650 😉 It's a fine addition to the 750 and it's also included in different existing aircraft.
That poor Skyhawk panel must look broken with a blank GTN unit…
I usually use the 650 for its handy default navigation page, TCAS or to manage my frequencies - or sometimes as a secondary terrain awareness device.

Bourrinopathe, I downloaded your new file, but I cannot open it, as it is labeled as a 7Z File.

I really love your work and appreciate yours and Jean-Lucs wonderful assistance.

Thank you,

Howard

7Z files most likely are compressed with 7zip. Most unarchiver(s) shall support this file, otherwise:
