August 27, 20187 yr Came upon this thread due to my (new) 750 going blank on the VC panel. When I first noticed it, the stock 530 was back there vs the 750 I'd been running with over the past 10-15 flights in my Carenado Turbo Commander 690B. I (re)enabled it in the plugins, however while being enabled, it didn't replace the stock one on the VC panel. I could however RMC (right mouse click) on the panel 750 and the window would appear and be sitting on the "hit continue" button screen. Works fine from that window pop out. Just refuses to come back to the VC panel. I've pretty much done what the others have done with the same null outcome. Just throwing my hat in the ring.
August 27, 20187 yr Hi, this sounds like the RealityXP.GTN.ini file is corrupted: most likely the 3D cockpit frame.rect= is 0,0,0,0 Please make sure to search the forum for "frame.rect" (optionally "carenado" too).
August 28, 20187 yr I had the exact same problem. A blank GTN 750 but right-clicking on it the pop-up worked. I just reinstalled the Turbo Commander and then it worked. Have you tried that?
September 7, 20187 yr Author This was going to be my next question/thing to try. I wanted to know if there was anything in the Carenado Turbo Commander 690B that could prevent the GTN750 from working properly. Next was going to be if there was an equivalent to windows evenlog that might give me a clue as to what is not happening or happened, then crashed. I've installed (over install) the new version of the 750 that was just released - no joy. I've uninstalled via windows control panel applet the 750 and will try a fresh install. If no joy on that, I'll uninstall/reinstall the Carenado 690B. Beyond that... Does the 750 function without the trainer installed/functioning? I ask this because while doing the install of the newer version of the 750 I saw a brief window pop up reporting that there was an error starting or finding it. It disappeared before I could scrn cap it or read it. So this might be a third element
September 7, 20187 yr Hi, The trainer is necessary for the RXP GTN to run. We've also re-uploaded the installer yesterday past noon to correct a last minute error which blocked the download process in the installer. You might want to re-download the e-commerce installer and run it with your purchase key/password to make it download the trainer correctly.
