HelloI was wondering what the following means?737-7H4737-2H4/Adv737-7Q8737-5H4I was looking on airliners.net and many of the 737s have H4, Q8, or some other combination. Can anyone tell me what it means? Thanks!

Im not a 100% sure but I think those codes identify the specific customer of a particular model of airplane. For example (if I remember correctly) Boeing's ID for British Airways is "36".So a British Airways 747-400 will be identified as a 747-436.Like I said Im not positive on this and Im sure someone in the know will reply soon!:)

I think you correct of that. There might be more meanings to it, but from what I have heard its a "customer number".Regards,Bill
