August 30, 20187 yr I used the linked tool, Memtest to test my RAM when I built and overclocked my current system back in 2013. I agree that it is an excellent tool for testing memory stability but unless they have changed it with the newer versions it did not test memory bandwidth or latency performance. For that Aida64 is a great tool. His “FSX Bible” had a chapter devoted to memory, it’s selection and configuration. Yes but again he stresses the balanced hardware process. Anyone who just clocks their memory cannot expect to see any relevant results. Setting the timings in coordination with the CPU etc gives the most significant results. And, the same old caveat - each system is different - use someone else's settings as a starting poiint and adjust from there. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
