No Data Stream from Real Traffic

Recommended Posts

Hello, fairly new user here with a recent problem, When I first installed PSX and RealTraffic, I had perfect traffic and enjoyed it much. In the last two weeks and numerous updates I am now unable to get a data stream from RealTraffic. I have installed, reinstalled used both versions of PSX and still no data stream. Day before yesterday I must have done something because it started to work, but the next nothing. I have a green bar and recognized aircraft on the right and the left RealTraffic side a yellow bar and nothing else. RealTraffic says "No Traffic" in read. I need help. In Defender PSX has firewall penetration.

Thanks.

From the FAQ:

Everything is connected but no live aircraft?
There could be something wrong with the RealTraffic installation. Exit RealTraffic, delete the file C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\InsideSystems\RealTraffic.ini and re-start RealTraffic.
Another thing that might help is to fill in the IP-address of the PC running RealTraffic instead of localhost or to re-type localhost and push the SAVE button.

Your RealTraffic settings are gone ...  You should tick Broadcast .., Disable ..., Show GND .., Show AIR...

See the Manual.

At the end of the log In the log I see an exception in mij Simconnect to FlightSim module... That means that PSXseecontrafic stopped working. Will make a better Error message in the next vrsion.

Don't know what caused that exception Did you made any changes related to your SimConnect settings?

That was in all logs I posted, not new. That's why I posted again, I thought at some point it would catch your attention.

What simconnect settings do you mean. In any case obviously not.

Are you running PSXseeconTraffic networked or at the same PC as P3DV4?

Well then you have no SimConnect settings.

Will have to give it some thought. You wrote it had worked a few weeks ago, so there must have been some changes in your setup that caused this.

It appears to me I am not receiving a data stream from RealTraffic.

No that is not the problem. PSXseeconTraffic has stopped communicating with P3DV4.

Like I wrote in my previous post, I have to give it some thought. That exception occurs for the first time..

Maybe you should re- install P3DV4, it looks like the SimConnect server in P3DV4 is faulty.

I have multiple apps running fine i.e.: ASp4, LittleNavmap (networked), joinfs, spad.next, mobiflight connect, akars, rex, to name a few.

They have nothing to do with your problem, I'd think...

Just reinstall P3DV4.

Easy for you to say, not so easy for me to do. What is it you think isn't working? I can change planes and psx sees the change. That tells me psx and p3d are communicating. I do not see data stream in the realtraffic side which tells me there is no com between RT and it's server. No?
