How are we going to identify each other? I have a UK2000 beta tester ID card around my neck when I visit the show.

Nobody could miss me, I always wear silly hats, that forum avatar pic of me is by no means unusual lol

I shall be there as usual together with Pete Dowson and his son John who is learning the business. Look forward to seeing familiar faces and hopefully a few new ones.

We really should get a group photo. I can recall those all the way back to the early years of the millennium outside the National Motorcycle Museum near Brum.

Such a shame when it was destroyed by fire around 2008 or so. I'm 6ft 5in with lots of grey hair so you should be able to spot me.

I spotted you last year Ray, when you were flying Concorde.  But we didn't get chance to speak.  That's when I met  @Christopher Low for about 5 seconds.  I think I had to head back to London.

That was two years ago Erich. They are getting a bit stingy about free space for flight clubs so I haven't been able to bring my system since. In any case it does rather tie you to your PC and I couldn't see much of the show or visit the lecture theatre.

Hope to have a longer chat this time Erich.

The FS show is in a single hangar. Your ticket also gives you free access to an excellent museum with many famous aircraft including an Avro Vulcan, De Havilland Mosquito and TSR2 - a supersonic fighter scrapped by the then govt in 1965.

There are several lectures in a dedicated auditorium when you need to rest your feet. It’s a great day out.

I'll be there with my grandson (13), who thinks the whole event is 'cool', and the VR headsets 'awsome'.
