Hi all, I am trying to track down some photogenic examples of some aircraft in support of the story I am working on. Most of them will be external shots so they do not have to be perfect inside.I would prefer if they were for FS9, but I also have CFS3.Here is what I currently need immediately:ME 109FW 190DO 17/19Ju88I interested in aquiring examples of any Freeware WW2 period ac that work in FS9, of any nation. I also need as many of them to be in desert paint scheme if possible. I am also interested in period specific scenery so if anybody has any ideas I would love to hear them.I have already:D18S BeechHurricane IIa and IIdSpitfire (untested yet)Stuka (untested)Ju52ME108LA7F4U CorsairA5M4 ClaudeC82C119 (not sure its right era)Grumman GooseS43 AmphibCheersShad

There's a lot over at www.sim-outhouse.com with some excellent Bf109G's The best Fw190s are the payware packs from Wings of Power (190As and Fs, 190Ds and Ta152s) with some superb new liveries available at the main sites.fw2od6.jpgta152crot3akq9.jpgAlastair

Thanks, I grabbed the ME. To bad about the others. The legal issues with payware and my use of them in the manner I intend to use them (full credit abd free promotion aside) will be far more headache than they are worth. I can make due with whats here in FS9, CFS3 and IL2. I may have to see about mocking up my own examples. What about other things like, tanks trucks and artilery. Anybody make that sort of thing for FS9?CheersShad

Shad, I am working on some WWII objects that can be placed with EZScenery, but it is part of a donationware project for SimOuthouse and still a little while away (maybe a month). I can let you know when it is released if interested.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/ambanner.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/153587.jpg

If I can put in a special request, I need an M3 half-track with the 4 .50 cal AA guns shooting up into the sky :)They do look great. I agree.I posted the screens I took for the story. I really want a pic of an M3 between the pics of the ME109 and the stukashttp://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=239428&page=CheersShad

Bill thanks, means mucho coming from you bro!Shad, if I can get a good side reference photo for the halftrack, no problem. I am finding this project is taking longer than my previous modern military objects due to lack of good color reference images. (Been trying to find some of a Cletrac, no luck)Btw, love the story so far and the edited images, good stuff!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/ambanner.jpg

One of the things some of the other folks I hang out with do is use plastic models for reference. Often they have reasonably accurate diagrams and drawings in the kit. Some have gone so far as to cross section the fuselage, and others have stuck the painted and decalled props on a drill to photographed the blur so it would be even more realistic (Paco Sanchez for "A Bit O' Lace" B17).I will however see what I can dig up. If it means getting an M3, trust me I will find you what you need :).Thanks for reading the story. It's still a bit amaturish (my first real attempt at fiction), but I am having fun writing it and making the images. So many talented addon authors and artist producing so much incredible story material here, its hard to stop. Its like a drug. I have two other stories (in the same series) on the go now . I have a third idea that will involve Chuck Jodry's Zepplin (flash back of a childhood experience for the main character). :)Sadly not everybody's models will be able to have a staring role, some may have to be supporting characters hehehe.CheersShad
