Complex clearances voice recognition problems

I have noticed that with the more complex clearances i.e when reading back an ifr clearance the results are really bad but simpler clearances are fine. I cannot believe Pilot2ATC handles the more complex clearances any differently. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? I have resolved myself to using Say it for the more complex clearances which is very frustrating. If you read this Dave, I would appreciate your thoughts

Complex clearances are the most difficult for  the program to understand correctly.  Part of the reason is the presence of proper names that are easy not to pronounce as the speech engine expects, and also the cadence of the readback, if starts and stops are present, can mess up the recognition.  Using SayIt is certainly a good way to get past them.

If you haven't done the Pilot2ATC specific voice recognition training, you should do that and it should improve the acceptance rate.  Doing it a second or third time can also improve recognition.

For Taxi instructions, which is the second most difficult to get understanding, there is an option on the ATC settings tab to do "Destination Only Taxi Readbacks" which eliminates the route checking where most of the errors occur.
